About Our Studio

Designing urban gardens that make city living greener

Who We Are

We started designing compact gardens because we saw how many urban dwellers wanted to connect with nature but felt limited by their space. Balconies, rooftops, and narrow courtyards often went unused or underutilised.

Over the years, we've developed a design philosophy centred on making the most of every available inch. Our team combines horticultural expertise with spatial design thinking to create gardens that feel expansive even when they're not.

Based in London, we work with clients across the city who want gardens that suit their lifestyle—whether that means low-maintenance greenery, productive edible spaces, or simply a place to relax after work.

What Guides Our Work

Understanding Your Space

Every urban garden has unique challenges—sunlight patterns, wind exposure, weight restrictions. We begin by thoroughly assessing these factors so our designs work with your environment, not against it.

Plants That Thrive

We select species suited to your specific conditions and maintenance preferences. There's no point designing a garden that looks beautiful on paper if the plants struggle to survive.

Functional Beauty

Aesthetics matter, but so does functionality. We design gardens you'll actually use—spaces for morning coffee, outdoor dining, or simply escaping the noise of the city.

Sustainable Thinking

From water management to native planting, we incorporate sustainable practices wherever possible. Urban gardens can support local wildlife and reduce environmental impact when designed thoughtfully.

Our Background

Our team brings together backgrounds in landscape architecture, horticulture, and urban planning. We've worked on projects ranging from tiny fifth-floor balconies to expansive rooftop terraces, always with the same attention to detail and commitment to creating gardens that last.

We stay current with developments in urban gardening—new plant varieties suited to city conditions, innovative growing systems, sustainable materials. This knowledge informs every project we take on.
